Osmosis Jones – Throw Back Thursday


Osmosis Jones is a classic throw back animation / live action film that premiered in August 10 2001

The setting of the film takes place inside a man’s body named Frank Dettore. Frank’s story was filmed in Live Action. The animation story was of a “white blood cell” police man played by Chris Rock. He partners up with a cold pill (David Hyde Pierce) to stop a deadly virus from killing Frank (there city). A lot of action, comedy, and dramatic moment ensue.


This film is a childhood favorite for many reasons aside from the comical value. The soundtrack has a lot top artists of the time on it like Brandy, R Kelly, and Kid Rock.

Was Mickey Mouse originally a rabbit?

Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in the 1920s-1930s co-created a character by the name of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit for Universal Pictures. The reason why this is newsworthy is because he bears a striking resemblance to Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney would soon be separated from the Oswald Rabbit project and the rights were owned by Universal Pictures. Being the genious he was he created “Mickey Mouse” while a train ride.

So was Mickey Mouse originally a Rabbit? hmmm
